It’s quite informative isn’t it?

I agree!! hahaha!

chickenmcthug on 2 November, 2006 at 2:37 pm #

“Self defeating”? To whom are you referring, to the other Americans posting here, or to everyone from virtually every other nation on Earth, who dispise this War Crime.
And by the way, I don’t **** Americans, they are also victims here. Nor do I **** the American Government anymore than most. We have lived in a Corporate state for a long time. New name, same old **** since the Stone Age. Media black-out on financial info regarding world wide selling of US currency. Catch you on the way down.

LoL thumbs down for calling it like it is… fucking glorified ignoramuses. Guess realists are the enemy now eh?

IF YOU’RE NOT HAPPY, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

godonarod on 6 November, 2006 at 6:40 pm #

Yes, the US government doesn’t do body counts, I was referencing iraqbodycount . org. Yes the US goverment fucked up big time, but I’m sick and tired of people using hyperbole and generalizations to attack the issue. I am not/won’t defend the US’s actions in Iraq, they were clearly motivated by greed.

I didn’t vote for Bush the first time, nor the second time, and I didn’t vote for McCain. I don’t support the US’s current path, but it’s self-defeating to make up **** to argue against them.

ringrangadongforahol on 9 November, 2006 at 10:53 pm #

“The estimated civilian casualty count is UNDER 100,000. 1 mil is off by an order of magnitude.”

Famously, Tommy Franks said “we don’t do body counts”…so clearly there is no interest in how many civilians have been killed. They do keep a running total of US casualities however. The fact is, the US do not care how many non US have been killed, just as they do not care about Iraq or its future. The invasion of Iraq & the resultant misery is indefensible & is a bona fide war crime.

This all stemmed from demand, if you use oil, you’re as guilty as Bush.

It’s pretty simple;

Your prosperity for theirs.

talosguevos on 27 November, 2006 at 4:14 pm #

jdoernte,

So invading a country because a foreign leader pissed you off is ok, “end of the story” (strongest point ever, pal). And you are outraged because some people disagree with your opinion. You’re amazing in so many ways I don’t know where to begin with.

hevya187,

jdoernte on 29 November, 2006 at 9:14 pm #

My god show some backbone for the love of pete. I don’t see anything wrong with our foreign policy in the past years besides the fact that Bush was perhaps a little to caustic and could have been more diplomatic. Iraq was a CLEAR ENEMY of the United States and we were fed up with Hussein’s hijinks since 91. End of story. The rest is simply anti-americanistic propaganda

godonarod on 1 December, 2006 at 8:25 pm #

I’m not really sure what the first half of your post means, but I think you misunderstood my post in general. I was attempting to move the conversation away from hyperbole with facts, and I stand by my statements.
You, however, have jumped right back into it. Yes, the USA has fucked itself diplomatically, and Bush’s re-election clearly showed a frightning level of ignorance. What I’m not clear on is how you decided I was ignorant, our government is a joke, or that we’ve destroyed the world…

hevya187 on 3 December, 2006 at 3:19 am #

godonarod,

There may be evil men ruling certain states- i totally agree- but america is far worse as a result. Because of its own people, america has killed “under” 100 000 of its own, displaced/killed innumerable innocents, and destroyed global relations. your government is a joke, your people’s apathy is horrendous, and it is your ignorance- yes i mean you personally- that has destroyed america and the world as a whole.

Evil men may commit evil deeds- but indifferance is just as bad…

godonarod on 6 December, 2006 at 4:17 am #

Wow, little over zealous there result321 with your claims. I agree that the US has been doing some very very stupid **** and needs to get its act together! However, you’ve got a few erroneous facts tucked in there.

The estimated civilian casualty count is UNDER 100,000. 1 mil is off by an order of magnitude

America is the MOST EVIL ever?! Its very misguided and manipulated, but without much effort I can point to a lot of more horrific governments: Sudan, N. Korea, Zimbabwe, Turkmenistan…

It is unfortunate this in this modern day world that a small number readers can be so close-minded germane to.

Kareem Faggins on 26 October, 2010 at 8:40 pm #

I suspect you can do that and live very comfortably.

My partner and I enjoyed reading this article, I was just itching to know do you trade featured posts? I’m always searching for somebody to make trades with and simply thought I might ask.

Katlyn Cossette on 1 November, 2010 at 3:45 am #

I am frequently searching for someone to trade articles and reviews with, I’m a scholar student and have a web log here on our university web site. The subject of this weblog and writting fashion would definitely go great in a few of my category’s, inform me should you be up for this.
