I must not understand the question … what do Native Americans have to do with OPEC, Petroleum, Axis of Evil members, Neo-Cons, the Federal Reserve or anything else that we’ve discussed in this exchange?

DANNY

What about te Native Americans? I am Cochtaw and Italian and Irish. What about the Cochtaw Indian Reservations and others?

I agree that I think its true … the neo-conservatives running The Project for a New American Century have made no attempts to hide their efforts to impact politics and foreign policy. What worries me is the potential damage to our economy if all the OPEC countries decide to switch currencies from U.S. Dollars to Euros — “the Federal Reserve’s worse nightmare” would likely result in a recession that would make the Great Depression of the 1930’s pale in comparison …

I think it’s true; this opinion is fairly widespread. I’ve heard Noam Chomsky and others promote this view. The USA did release a mission statement called The Project for a New American Century in which they said their new policy was to back economic policy with force. A lot of countries didn’t seem to take them completely seriously until Iraq went down. Iran was set to open a Euro-based oil bourse and they delayed and then backed down.

CARSON

If this is true, the world’s oil based economics makes a lot more sense now. As does the neo-con based aggression towards countries labeled as `Axis of Evil` members …

p.s. ….. you’re a bit pompous aren’t you?

The first two sentences don’t contradict. Read more carefully.

So in your view Americas economy is not underpinned by petrodollar recycling? In your view if the U.S. dollar were to be exchanged for the Euro as the most commonn global reserve currency this would not cripple the U.S. economy?

meursault48 on 11 December, 2009 at 11:50 pm #

ELMER

Eh? You first two sentences contradict each other. But, I neither agree with his message nor your rather unlettered premise that in someway the capitalist pursuit by which most of us live is purely down to a few suits in Texas and New Jersey.

speakerdavid on 12 December, 2009 at 11:46 pm #

CEDRICK

From the way you express yourself it seems that you don’t disagree with his message just his delivery on this topic.

We are left to deduce therefore the the killing of tens and hundreds of thousands of innocents is acceptable to you in the persuit of U.S. economical hegemony.

I am therefore forced to ask …….
Who is actually the wanker here?

BRAD

see for me hes very funny and the whole situation doesnt really interest me so i like people to give me satirical analogies so i know whats going on,quick funny summaries

meursault48 on 17 December, 2009 at 7:32 am #

EDDY

Hearing him ranting on global warming (the adopted cause of disaffected Marxists everywhere) there’s not much rationality there. (re-nationalising BP and Shell?…very progressive. Of course Lukoil and Minol were models of probity) His brand of activism reminds me of the Redgraves, Galloway, Gerry Healy and the Workers Revolutionary Party. I just have a problem with satirists who blur the line between satire and activism. Once they forget the jokes, it just becomes dogma. QV Michael Moore.

ELISHA

I think he has some valid points though and he seems to be getting his message across in his current guise.

Frankly, I do think he’s funny too and has some great idea’s and theories. May I just question how he is fundamentalist though?

meursault48 on 18 December, 2009 at 2:05 am #

GARFIELD

Oooh where to start: simplistic, egotistical, fundamentalist, smug, self-righteous, vain, lumpen, mendacious, and worst of all - not funny. These days it’s easy to be rabidly anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-globalisation. It’s impossible to be all those things and have anything remotely relevant to say that hasn’t been poached from the sort of web sites read by pimply students with no girlfriends. He should either run for office or **** off.

SSJ2Killua on 18 December, 2009 at 5:42 pm #

DALTON

Praytell, why is he a wanker?

meursault48 on 19 December, 2009 at 10:52 am #

EMERY

Let’s face it, we all have a basic addiction to cheap oil whether we like it or not. If the world was run by wankers like Rob Newman, we’d all be dead within months.

meursault48 on 21 December, 2009 at 11:50 pm #

EVERETTE

Yes, of course, it’s all fact isn’t it. Newman is disingenuous at best, and not very funny. Could you imagine getting stuck in a lift with the ****? - or indeed with tedious sheep like franz909…

Kagemusha22 on 23 December, 2009 at 10:00 am #

EDDY

Okay, prove why it’s “inaccurate”.

franz909 on 23 December, 2009 at 3:14 pm #

CHRIS

Isn’t it funny clowns like meursault48 make all these claims about “inaccuracies” but NEVER offer any PROOF nor what was inaccurate .
When talked about BP in collusion with US and British intelligence to over throw Mossadeq , it’s a FACT . So just because Fox Noise never brings it up or U.S. history books, doesn’t make it untrue .
