The promo clip. One of their biggest hits, and certainly one of their more socially conscious records.

Are you Australian? If so, you should know better. If not, well I wonder where you got that info from.

dazzadidja’s comments are true an well said. Just listen to some of the lyrics people: `the time has come to say fairs fair’. `It belongs to them, let’s give it back’. This song was released before the `Mabo-1992; Native Title Act-1993′(Australia). To this day significant injustice occurs to Aboriginal people.

I agree with you 100%. That is what this song means. I just learned about it in my Travel and Tourism class yesterday.
I loved the song so much I watched in on here yesterday and downloaded in to my itunes.
When I seen the comment about the “Global warming” I got pissed off, and then I saw yours and I felt better.
Thanks.

7419217 on 21 September, 2007 at 4:36 am #

lol there was no such thing as global warming back then :P

dazzadidja on 23 September, 2007 at 7:14 am #

IT’S NOT ABOUT GLOBAL WARMIMG, it’s about injustice to australian aboriginals, and how the blood of aboriginal people still cries out for justice while people sleep and eat on top of that blood….in every city and town, aboriginal blood has been shed….

DMBBG on 26 September, 2007 at 6:10 pm #

Song is about Global Warming I believe. Beds are burning meaning the earth’s tempature is hotter then ever!!!!
