There is this erroneous belief that a dialect is a sub language of a sub cultures. This stereotype has been enforced by an “official” culture and unfortunately is kiling precious languages and cultures around the world. I see this in my own country and it’s a shame to see native languages and cultures dwindling because of the carelessness of our government. There is no such thing as a superior culture, each culture is a unique point of view on how we portray our world.
