SUVs are bad, but the lumbering trucks going from california to who knows were full of frozen strawberries… now thats wasteful. I would suggest getting at least 30% of your food from a local source. So if you can check out your local farmers market, make a few valuable friends. Also supporting local farmers is a great way to keep capitol in your local system.
